Hope you have had a good week.
We are very conscious that the weather forecast for Sunday is again showing some very high temperatures. Please be assured we will continue to do as much as we can to keep the building cool for the service. We will have fans going and there will be water on the tables for those who would like it. Coffee will be served after the service.
Our service this Sunday morning is being led by Joe and the youth. Please do come and support them.
On the subject of youth – our sincere congratulations to all those who were involved in leading the worship on the afternoon of the Eastern Synod Big Day out last week. They did an amazing job and a number of people have commented how blessed they were to be led by them.
The sign-up sheet is up for the church picnic on Sunday 31st July. Please do sign up if you are coming so that we can ensure we have enough cake for everybody.
It is a blessing that we have had the Fellowship Fund to be able to help a number of people. The value of the fund is quite low at the moment. If you are in a position that you are able to make a donation to the fund to help bless others, please do so through the church bank account and mark the reference as “Fellowship Fund”.
Just a reminder that we won’t be meeting on Zoom for prayer meetings this week.
And finally! It would be really wonderful to see a number of folk gathering together for New Wine which starts on Sunday evening at 7pm. The timetable is overleaf – come for all of the sessions or come for those you can get to.
During our service on 31st July (next week) we will be leaving some space for anyone to share a testimony or word they receive over the week. Please do speak to me if you would like to be included to share something on 31st July.
