Hope you have had a good week.
Please do pray for those involved in leading worship at the Synod Big Day Out this weekend.
We are very conscious that the weather forecast for Sunday is showing some very high temperatures. Please be assured we are doing as much as we can to keep the building cool for the service. We will have fans going and there will be water on the tables for those who would like it. Coffee will be served after the service.
The sign-up sheet is up for the fish and chips lunch on Saturday 23rd July (1pm). Please sign up this Sunday (17th July) so that we can ensure the order can be made in good time. If you are unable to sign up but would like to come, please e-mail your order to admin@plumeavenuechurch.org.uk no later than Monday lunchtime (18th July). The menu is on the reverse of this letter.
There is also a sign up sheet for the church picnic on Sunday 31st July. Please do sign up if you are coming so that we can ensure we have enough cake for everybody.
A number of folk have been asking about coming into church membership. If you are not a church member but would like to explore this, please do speak to me or one of the elders.
Our meeting with the Moderator in Dovercourt was quite positive – we will be providing some feedback from this separately.
The leadership team will be meeting on Monday evening for their monthly meeting – please do pray for this meeting.
We meet on Zoom for our Tuesday Bible Study Homegroup at 7.30pm. Our Wednesday and Saturday morning prayer meetings will be on Zoom at 9.30 am. We have decided to cancel the prayer meeting on 27th July as we are all hoping to be at New Wine at Church.
