Liz’s Letter 31/07/2022

Be still, and know that I am God Psalm 46:10
Dear All
Hope you have had a good week. I know that many of us have been very blessed by the Lord through the worship, prayer, teaching and ministry from the New Wine conference. Thank you to all those who enabled this to happen at church – the tech team, refreshment team and those who responded to God’s call to pray for others.
So much of the teaching has been quite inspirational. It is our hope that starting 4th September we will show the Jon Tyson teaching sessions on Sunday evenings at 7pm. The sessions last about ½ hour and have been quite incredible. Do put the dates and times in your diary for 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th September at 7pm.
This Sunday, our service will be followed by a picnic in the church gardens (in church if the rains do come!). Please do bring a garden chair or rug (we do have some chairs we can use outside) and also your picnic lunch. We will provide drinks and cake. Please don’t worry if you haven’t signed up – there is plenty of cake to go round. Do hope you will be able to stay.
Coffee will be served before the service this week.
We return to normal with our Zoom prayer meetings on Wednesday and Saturday this week. Please note though that the church won’t be open for Foodbank donations on Saturdays 7th and 14th August. Please do bring your donations to church with you though on the Sundays.
On 16th August we will be having a time to share afternoon tea (cake, scones and drinks). If you would like to come, please sign up in the foyer so that we know how much food we will need.
Hope you have a good weekend and week. Stay safe in the hot weather.
With love and blessings.
