Wedding
This weekend, on Saturday 20th August, George and Hope will be getting married at church. Please do remember them in your prayers as they start their married life together.
Daniel in Kenya
We have received some information from Daniel expressing some serious concerns about their cost of living rises and the need for money for one of the lady’s hospital treatment. Daniel writes:
“I had a very good journey back from England and I found my wife and family happy but I found many things have changed. The cost of living has gone five times up. The number of people living in my house has increased which is a big challenge one lady is now in the hospital and she needs £300 for medicine and treatment also. It’s very difficult for me to feed five families in my house and this is the reason why I have written to you if you can help. May God bless you Daniel”
If you feel able to give financially to help Daniel, please send donations to the church bank account and these will be passed on. The bank account details are:

Sunday evenings in September
Just a reminder that starting 4th September we will be sharing the Jon Tyson teaching sessions on Sunday evenings at 7pm. The sessions last about ½ hour and are quite incredible. Do put the dates and times in your diary for 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th September at 7pm.
Paraclesis
The Paraclesis series will start on 4th September, Rev David Sebley will be taking our service that morning which will also include Communion. After the service we invite everyone to bring a picnic lunch together. The Paraclesis books are available today. For those who already have a book from a previous occasion, you will find that there is more material in the new book, including the small group questions.
There will be the normal Zoom prayer meetings on Wednesday and Saturday this week, both at 9.30pm.
Hope you have a good weekend and week. Stay safe in the hot weather. With love and blessings.
