Paraclesis
The Paraclesis series starts next Sunday, 4th September. Rev David Sebley will be taking our service that morning which will also include Communion.
The Paraclesis books are available in the church foyer. If you are able to contribute £5 to the cost of the books please pay through the church bank account marking your payment “paraclesis” or use the SumUp machine to pay by card, David B will have this with him.
There will be 3 homegroups for the series. One on Tuesday mornings at church at 10am, another on Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm and another at church on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm. Please sign up in the foyer to join one of these groups.
The Tuesday dates are: 6th, 20th September, 4th, 18th October, 1st, 8th November
The Wednesday dates are: 7th, 21st September, 5th, 19th October, 2nd, 9th November
Church Picnic
Next Sunday morning, 4th September, we invite everyone to bring a picnic lunch to church so that we can share in some time together after the service. Please sign up in the foyer or e-mail admin@plumeavenuechurch.org.uk to let us know you are coming. David and Mel Sebley will be joining us.
Sunday evenings in September
This starts next Sunday 4th September and we will be sharing the Jon Tyson teaching sessions starting at 7pm. The sessions last about ½ hour and are quite incredible. Do put the dates and times in your diary for 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th September at 7pm.
Prayers
Please do remember the children and young people as they prepare to return to school and college – some are starting school for the first time and others are moving into new schools and colleges. Remember too the families and the teaching and support staff.
There will be the normal Zoom prayer meetings on Wednesday and Saturday this week, both at 9.30pm.
