Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Rom 12:2
Dear Church,
It has been a real blessing to have people in the church building over the last few weeks and to hear laughter and conversation once again returning to Plume.
This Sunday we celebrate communion and we give thanks for all that Jesus has done, continues to do and promises to do in the future. If you would like to join us on our Facebook page please do so and bring along your own bread and wine.
If you are nervous about coming back to the building can I please encourage you to come along to one of our services in the next couple of weeks. These services have less people in attendance and it can give you a sense of what it feels like to be back in the building with other people around you. Numbers are strictly limited at the moment so there are no big crowds.
If you’d like to join us for a service please do drop an email to
services@plumeavenuechurch.org.uk
to book your place.
Please continue to pray for Plume Avenue Church as we seek God for the way forward and please also remember to pray for your neighbours and our nation as we come out of lockdown.
Elders Matters.
In June we shall hold our AGM on the 28th and we shall be looking for new elders. Please read the document about elders that was circulated three weeks ago and if you are feeling called to eldership or if you feel someone in the fellowship would be a good elder please do speak to one of the current serving elders to suggest their name.
If you don’t feel called to eldership but feel you could offer help to the eldership during the interregnum please do speak to one of the elders to offer your help.
Church Membership.
Thank you to those who have responded to the membership course initiative. We shall be running the two session membership course on June 10th and June 21st. If you are interested in becoming a member and would like to sign up for it please speak to either Geoff or Adrian Tidbury for further details.
God Bless you and keep you.
With much love,
Geoff Felton..
