Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27
Dear All
I hope you have had a good week. This Sunday is significant in the life of God’s church here at Plume Avenue. On Sunday we will vote on the motion “Do you agree to the forming of a Partnership with Tiptree URC and Plume Avenue URC?” If the secret ballot returns an 80% majority, the elders will work with the Tiptree elders to produce a profile reflecting the partnership for a vacancy to be declared for a minister to serve the partnership. Please do continue to pray about this. As you arrive on Sunday, we would ask that if you are staying for the church meeting, you sign the church meeting attendance book – this is not because we need a record of who is attending the service but we need to record the number of members eligible to vote. Hopefully by signing before the service it will speed up the process of the meeting after the service.
Baby Box
Please do remember there is a baby box in the foyer for donations of gifts for young George Samuel Swabey. We will present this to Sarah, David and George early in June.

Church Membership
Some folk have asked about church membership. If you are not yet a member and would like to explore this, please do speak to me or Dave or Marie.
Coffee and Cake
As from 5th June we will “rebrand” our Monday gathering to be “Coffee and Cake” and will meet from 9.30 am – 12 noon. We have some folk who are able to help with serving the coffee and provide cakes. If you would be able to help with this on an occasional or regular basis
please let me know as soon as you can so that we can put a rota together. We would like to continue to gather on a Monday morning as many have found this a wonderful opportunity to meet together and it has also provided support to Esther and the toddler group with serving coffee.
Thy Kingdom Come
I do hope you are being blessed with the resources from Thy Kingdom Come. If you did not get a copy last week, there are copies available this weekend together with some children’s resources.
