Do not be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God – Philippians 4: 6
Hi All
The bible verse at the head of this letter seems to have become something of a theme this week. As the Elders met to pray on Monday evening, this was the verse I was led to share at the beginning of the meeting. On Tuesday evening we were looking at the subject of “wait” and one of the aspects was about having joy as we wait and how being thankful can stimulate joy. On Wednesday morning Audrey opened the prayer meeting with this verse. I think God is trying to tell us something!!
Obviously we continue to pray for the situation in Ukraine but we also remember that there are those in our church family who are struggling at the moment and we remember them also.
If you were wanting to make a financial donation to the DEC Ukraine appeal it is not too late to do so. Please see last week’s letter for how you can do this, if you do not have the letter do contact me and I will send you the details.
