Paraclesis
This Sunday we start the Paraclesis series. Rev David Sebley will be taking our service which will also include Communion. Junior Church will also restart this Sunday.
The Paraclesis books are available in the church foyer. If you are able to contribute £5 to the cost of the books please pay through the church bank account marking your payment “Paraclesis” or use the SumUp machine to pay by card, David B will have this with him.
There will be 3 homegroups for the series. Details were in last week’s letter – please sign up in the
foyer to join one of these groups.
Church Picnic
Do bring your picnic to church on Sunday morning to stay for lunch after the service. If you have a garden chair you can bring that might be helpful!
Sunday evenings in September
Also starting this Sunday is the Jon Tyson teaching sessions starting at 7pm.The evenings will include some worship. Do join us for these thought provoking talks.
Finance Letters
The finance team have a letter for everyone in the fellowship. Please collect yours from the foyer and take any you may be able to deliver to others. We thank the finance team for all their continued work overseeing the finances of the church.
Youthscape Essentials
The Youthscape essentials course starts on Saturday 10th September – it is not too late to sign up. Please contact Joe Robbins for more details.
Tech Desk
The tech team are very small in numbers and would like to “grow” into a bigger team! Please speak to Matt if you think you might be able to help. The team provide us with a wonderful service for our services and events and we are so grateful to them for all they do. Please do give this plea your prayerful consideration.
There will be the normal Zoom prayer meetings on Wednesday and Saturday this week, both at 9.30pm.
