Gifts Course
Our Spiritual Gifts course called SHAPE starts this Wednesday, 22nd April at 7pm. This course will run fortnightly and will help you to identify your:
• Spiritual Gifts
• Heart’s Desires
• Abilities
• Personality
• Experience
that you can use for God’s Service.
If you are intending to join the course, please sign up this Sunday at the latest so that we can organise the correct number of resources and the final arrangements for the course. If you have any questions speak to Liz, David or Marie.
Watoto
Following the table discussions on the Church Vision, we were asked to look at whether we could host the Watoto Choir again. Andrew made a presentation last Sunday morning which was followed up with a number of questions. We have raised these with Watoto and will be sharing the responses with the whole church shortly to enable a decision to be made as to whether to host the choir.
Coffee and Tea
We all appreciate having refreshments on a Sunday morning. The number of folk who are now able to be on the rota to provide these has reduced to 6 which means that unless we can have some more volunteers, refreshments will not be available every Sunday. Please do give this serious thought as to whether you could help and if you can please speak to Jo as soon as possible. This is rather urgent as Jo is about to prepare the new rota.
Bible Journaling
The next Bible Journaling session at church is on Saturday 25th April from 10 am – 12 noon. You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy this and get results – many of us are far from being artists. Please do speak to Jo Barnard-Edwards if you have any questions or would like to know more. Refreshments are available and there will be some basic sheets to get you going if you have never done this before.
Church Storage sorting
On Saturday 2nd May starting at 9.30am we will be sorting out the storage in the loft spaces at church. It would be helpful to have a number of folk to help with this. If you have items stored in the loft space, please speak to Liz or Marie so that we are aware of these. Please do try and join us for this and if anyone can volunteer to provide refreshments this would be very welcome!

Out of the Box
Are you involved in children’s work, youth work, school work (paid or voluntary), all age services,
prayer, leading devotions for meetings?
The Synod Children’s Mission Practitioner will be running a taster evening for the Out of the Box
resource here at Plume Avenue. This will be on 29th April at 7pm. Everyone is invited to attend this
taster session – it would be great to have a good number of folk to hear and explore how this
resource can be used in so many settings. If you are interested in
coming to the taster evening please sign up in the foyer.
Synod Little Day out at Southwold
On Saturday 9th May there is a “Synod Little Day out at Southwold.
There are various activities being organised. There are some
information and booking forms available in the porch at church and a
copy will be sent out with this letter. The deadline for registering is 1st
May.
This week
There will be a prayer meeting on Wednesday morning and Saturday morning at 9.30 am on
Zoom. Zoom details will be e-mailed early in the week.
