Dear All,
Hope you have had a good week. This Sunday is our All Age Remembrance Service when we will be observing the two minutes silence and also blessing the shoeboxes.
Prayer Morning
There will be a prayer morning at church on Saturday 23rd November from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. This is open to everyone, of all ages, to drop in for all or part of the morning. The focus is to pray as we look ahead to Advent and Christmas. There will be prayer stations to help focus our prayers. If you would like to help with this please speak to Jo Barnard-Edwards.
Induction Service
A date has been set for the induction of Rev Andrew Mudharara. This will be on February 15th 2025. More details to follow.
Piano
We have a piano in the store cupboard at the back of the large hall which is no longer required. If you or someone else you know might like it please let us know – it is free but whoever takes it will be responsible for moving it.
Christmas Nativity Trail
This takes place on Sunday 8th December in the afternoon. The trail is for the community as well as church families and is a joint venture with Prettygate Baptist Church. We need help with welcoming, refreshments and crafts for the afternoon. If you can help, please sign up in the foyer.
New Wine talks
We continue screening the Bishop Ruth Bushyager’s talks she gave on the mornings of New Wine this week. These are on Saturday mornings at 10.15 am and Sunday evenings at 6.45 pm (the same talk but at different times).
Operation Christmas Child
Boxes and leaflets are available in the foyer. The boxes are 40p each. Please do speak to Pam Soames if you have any questions. This Sunday is the final day for receiving shoeboxes.
CYO Celebration Event 2024
