The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8
Dear All
Hope you have had a good week.
With all that is being said in the news and the conversations I have had with many folk, I hope the above bible verse gives some hope and encouragement to everyone of the faithfulness of the Lord.
I’d like to share a request about when and how folk can contact me. I have spoken to David Sebley and the rest of the leadership team and they have agreed that I need to set a few boundaries so that I get some time to myself. I would therefore be very grateful if folk would not contact me before 9am or after 9pm Monday – Thursday. On a Friday I would be grateful if folk didn’t contact me after 5pm and through to Sunday so that I am able to take Friday evenings and the whole of Saturdays “off”. If you could refrain from phoning, texting, messaging or sending e-mails across these times that would be so helpful. Obviously if an urgent pastoral need arises I am happy to be contacted outside of these times.
Just a reminder also that if you would like to book a room at church you need to e-mail bookings@plumeavenuechurch.org.uk and Marie will be able to help you.
Also, if you have a request for the prayer circle team to pray about, please e-mail circleprayer@plumeavenuechurch.org.uk .
I hope everyone will understand that I need some space and time to myself.
