“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
Dear All
Hope you have had a good week and returning to “normal” activities has not been too stressful. Please do remember those who are currently quite poorly within our church family. There are many coughs, colds, flu and Covid cases about as well as other nasty bugs – please do pray for healing and protection.
Reading the Bible in a Year
Have you ever read the bible from cover to cover in a year? We have a reading plan which we have purchased which gives us a daily reading to do (they take 12-15 minutes to read). Some folk took the first week last week – I will ensure there are copies of this available on Sunday. Unfortunately the plan we have does not give us permission to circulate it electronically otherwise I would e-mail it out.
Gladys Bessant
Just a reminder that the Service of Thanksgiving for Gladys is here at church on Monday 9th January at 11am. Please do continue to pray for Gladys’ family at this time.
Liz McBurney
The Service of Thanksgiving for Liz will be on Friday 20th January at 11am at the church. Please do continue to pray for Liz’s family at this time.
Warm Welcome Hub
The Warm Welcome Hub restarts on 16th January. If you are able to help please e-mail warmhub@plumeavenuechurch.org.uk with your available dates as soon as possible. Please do pray for this initiative and do come along any time between 9am and 3pm.
This week
There will be prayer meetings on Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 9.30am and the Zoom details will be e-mailed early in the week. Homegroups will restart week beginning 16th January.
Many of our children’s and youth activities and groups restart this week – please do pray for the leaders, children and young people.
With love and blessings.
