Anna

Anna

Luke 2:37 …She never left the temple but worshipped night and day, fasting and praying.

Driven by prophecy, she approaches the holy table,Knowing there is not a moment to lose. Then,Finally, the old woman steps out from the temple’s shadow;Warms her bones in the light of the New Day.

Her one desire is to see God redeem and restore,Fuel for her vigil, fast, worship and prayer. As God breaks through into history once more; She is blessed with the hope of the New Day.

Centuries of temple worship distil into this singularity,As priest and judge, blend with prophet and king Into this child; completing the sweet realityThat we are set free by the truth of this New Day.
