Dear All,
Hope you have had a good week. We gather this Sunday at 10am for our final Café Church Service of the Summer. During the service we will hear testimonies and stories from Satellites, Holiday Club, New Wine and how God has been working in people’s lives recently. If you feel God is prompting you to share something, please do let me know – it is not too late! Please do try and join us as we celebrate the “Summer highlights”.
After the service we will share some time together over our picnic lunches – do bring your lunch with you.
David and I will again be taking some time out this week – we are not going away but would appreciate it if folk did not contact us by e-mail, messaging, texting or phone from Monday to Friday inclusive unless you have an emergency.
Summer Mondays
Thank you to everyone who helped and everyone who provided the wonderful cakes for the Summer Monday sessions. We are now praying and considering where we go with this area of children’s work. Please do pray about this and if you have anything to share please let me know.
August and September 2023
We have a number of special services over August and September:
27th August Summer highlights café church service followed by a church picnic
3rd September Communion service with Rev Mark Ambrose
10th September Dedication and Blessing service for Aurora Tidbury
24th September Harvest Café Church service followed by lunch together
Church Meeting
There will be a church meeting on Monday 25th September. The agenda will be circulated after the leadership team have met early in September.
New Wine
We are hoping to share the Glenn Packiam series from the morning sessions sometime during the autumn. We are debating which is the best day of the week to do this – if you have a preference please do let me know so that we can make a decision which will help as many folk as we can.
There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer – if you would like to hear these sessions please do sign up and register your preferences.
