Hope you have had a good week. This Sunday we welcome Rev Mark Ambrose to lead our service at 10 am.
Summer highlights service
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the service last Sunday. If you have a story to tell please do let me know and we will make space in another service.
August and September 2023
We have a number of special services over August and September:
3rd September Communion service with Rev Mark Ambrose
10th September Dedication and Blessing service for Aurora Tidbury
24th September Harvest Café Church service followed by lunch together.
Harvest
We hope to serve a meal after the service on 24th September but need some help with this. Please e-mail admin@plumeavenuechurch.org.uk if you are able to offer to help.
Church Meeting
There will be a church meeting on Monday 25th September. The agenda will be circulated after the leadership team have met early in September.
New Wine
We are hoping to share the Glenn Packiam series from the morning sessions sometime during the autumn. We are debating which is the best day of the week to do this – if you have a preference please do let me know so that we can make a decision which will help as many folk as we can.
There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer – if you would like to hear these sessions please do sign up and register your preferences.
Ladies Retreat Day
Calling all ladies – the Advent Retreat Day at Assington Hall has been booked for 9th December. Please do put the date in your diary. There will be a sign up sheet in the foyer on 10th September – places will be on a first come first served basis. The day is likely to cost £10 per head – to secure your place we will be asking for a £5 deposit. I know some ladies are away at the moment, do let me or someone else know if you would like to come to the retreat day and we will sign you up.
I’m in the process of asking someone to come and lead the day for us – watch this space!
