Greeting to you God’s people and your families. I pray that we may grow to know Christ by the power of His resurrection.
I desire and pray that each and every one of us may flourish in our relationship with God and each other. God desires us to grow in our knowledge and relationship with Him and God’s people. When we nourish ourselves in the word, we enrich ourselves with the nutrients that enable us to grow and be healthy leading to being fruitful. (Psalm 1 :1-3).
God desires us to flourish or blossom as we draw life, strength and courage from Him through His word and the people around us who are drawing life, strength and courage from Him in whom we are planted (grafted) through Christ.
Our growth and flourishing are dependent on our connection to the source of life who is God. We have to be intentional when it comes to our connection to God. It is not just going to happen on its own, we have to invest time and energy in strengthening our relationship with God through spending time with Him in prayer and reflection, reading the Bible and books and spending time with people who are going to encourage us to develop our relationships with Him.
When we create a conducive environment around our relationships with God, we become like a tree planted by the streams of water whose leaves will not wither, i.e. flourishing. When we remain connected to the source of life, strength and courage we flourish in our lives.
When we are flourishing, we produce flowers of different shapes and scents thereby attracting many people to us because they can see the life in us. It is however, important to remain connected to the source so that the flowers can turn into fruits that will last. When we are flourishing as a church and individuals, we become a joy for people to be around us as they enjoy the flowers and fruits we produce through Christ.
I pray that we may be intentional about our desire to flourish in Christ as individuals and Church .
Andrew
