We offering a wider cafe style session “Summer Mondays” on three Mondays, for all ages of the church and community. The church will be open from 9.30 am to 12 noon for refreshments, crafts, board games, a place to chat and a small toddler area. All those under the age of 16 must bring an adult with them for the morning!
We will be open on 28th July, 11th August and 18th August.
Sunday mornings we have a children’s group.
The toddler group meets on Monday mornings during term time from 9:30 to 11:00am. It is open to all babies and toddlers and they must be accompanied by an adult.
The group is becoming successful and now has a number of children and adults each week. It has become an important space for adults to come and meet together and chat and support one another and for their little ones to gain some social interaction with children of their own age.
Girls’ Brigade meet on Thursdays at 6:15.
Girls’ Brigade was established in 1893 and more than 100 years on, it’s still providing a safe space, both online and offline, for girls and young women to grow in confidence, learn new skills, and try out new activities. Equally important, though, is the opportunity for group members to integrate with people from a different background, school, age group, etc. Social integration is an important aspect of what we do.
We have varied activities for young people from Sunday morning groups, evening small groups, sleep overs, camps and so much more.
Drop-in Youth Club for 11-16 year olds (years 7-11) in the local community.
Our Monday drop-in, now in its third year, continues to flourish—with up to 30 young people attending each week. It’s become a vibrant, welcoming space for connection, laughter, and belonging. These glimpses of community forming are so encouraging to see.
